I am new at this so please be patient with me. I have been working on some books for the beginning of the year that I think most teachers in pre-k, kindergarten, and first grade will find useful. The "Welcome Back Teacher Pack" has ready-made forms for you to use throughout the year. There are forms such as: a class roster, "How will I get home" form and poster, parent conference sign-in form, parent volunteer sign-up forms, party sign-ups, student hall passes, reading group forms, center labels, and a behavior calendar for each month of the year. You will find this book on Teacher's Notebook and Teachers Pay Teachers web sites. I love these web sites. I have found so many useful tools that I have purchased to use in my classroom so I decided to try my hand at making some books myself. I hope you find them useful. Thank you for looking.
Here is a freebie for you...... You use it on a smart board to take attendance. It will fit in great with your ocean unit. Just add your students' names on the fish. When the children come into the classroom each morning, they will touch their fish and it will swim away. The fish remaining in the ocean are the students that are absent.
